HAZARDOUS MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION & REMOVAL FOR CH2M HILL

CH2M Hill was a global engineering company that provided various services for corporations and governments. One of their projects involved the Rio Tinto Minerals Borax Plant in Boron, CA, where they requested the expertise of our environmental compliance consultants for Environmentally Regulated Materials surveys and Hazardous Materials Sampling.

Our certified Asbestos consultants identified and located both asbestos-containing and lead-containing materials, collecting bulk samples of 55 items to be submitted for analysis. Our team drafted recommendations on the proper removal to protect the workers involved, proper waste disposal, and any lead-related construction activities. We conducted the same measure for hazardous materials sampling, inspecting above-ground storage tanks, and vessels to evaluate and then direct the client on proper disposal methods. The result was improved worker safety and environmental compliance for the company.
