Federal regulatory expertise
Federal EHS&S Regulations
For employers operating across the United States — or in federal-plan OSHA states, on federal land, with federal contracts, or under federal environmental jurisdiction — Citadel EHS provides senior-level regulatory consulting on the full federal EHS&S rule set.
Federal agencies we work with daily
Federal EHS&S compliance is rarely about one agency — most employers operate at the intersection of OSHA workplace safety, EPA environmental, NEPA project-level review, and DOT hazmat transportation. Our consultants are credentialed across these domains.

The federal OSHA program directly enforces in 21 states plus most U.S. territories. The remaining states operate state-plan OSHA programs that must be at least as effective as federal OSHA, but are often stricter in specific areas.
For employers with operations in both federal-plan and state-plan states, the practical compliance burden is navigating two reference standards in parallel. Our consultants map each site to its governing program and build a single, harmonized internal standard.
