Dear Valued Citadel Stakeholders,

Citadel EHS remains open for business and will continue working.  As you are aware, the State of California issued Executive Order N-33-20 essentially ordering all Californians to stay home except as needed to maintain continuity of “critical infrastructure.” Federal Presidential Policy Directive 21 (PPD-21): PPD-21 identifies 16 critical infrastructure sectors. https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2013/02/12/presidential-policy-directive-critical-infrastructure-security-and-resil

After careful review of these orders, we, along with our attorneys, have concluded that Citadel EHS is an “essential business” enterprise that supports other “essential business enterprises” and is currently providing services to many of the critical infrastructures. Besides our normal environmental, health, and safety work that we continue to perform regularly, we are actively responding/contracted with clients concerning COVID-19. We are actively drafting cleaning and disinfection plans for sites with confirmed COVID cases, assisting with client concerns and planning functions, and may be providing oversight of clean ups.

As such, Citadel EHS will continue to provide environmental, health, and safety consulting services to public and private critical infrastructure clients in accordance with our Pandemic Response Plan, CDC and public health department guidelines, and Cal/OHSA regulations provided that they elect to remain operational and require our services.
