Health Benefits
Medical
Citadel offers employees a choice between three different medical plans. Coverage under all plans includes comprehensive medical care and prescription drug coverage. Citadel pays 100% of the employee-only cost for the HMO plan.
Dental
Employees have a choice between two different dental plans: DHMO (contracted network) or DPPO (access to In-Network & Out-of-Network) through Guardian. Citadel pays 100% of the employee-only cost.
Vision
Vision coverage is available through Principal Vision Service Plan (VSP) and covers eye exams, lenses, frames, and contacts. Plans also offer special discounts on many non-covered services. Citadel pays 100% of the employee-only cost.
Basic Life / AD&D
Citadel provides all full-time employees basic life/AD&D insurance coverage in the amount of $25,000 through Principal.
Voluntary Life / AD&D
Employees may purchase voluntary life/AD&D coverage for self and family members.
Long Term & Short-Term Disability
Disability coverage provides partial replacement of lost wages when an employee is unable to work due to a covered illness or injury. Eligible employees are provided with Long Term Disability (LTD) & Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage at no cost.
EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN (ESOP) & 401(k)
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and Trust provides employees with a retirement through the company. Employees earn ESOP shares which are awarded annually by the trust to each qualifying employees’ account.
401(k) Savings Plan
Citadel’s 401(k) Plan offers Pre-Tax and Roth contribution options to help maximize employee savings. Citadel also makes a matching contribution up to 4% of your annual salary.

Time Off
Vacation
Employees are eligible to use accrued vacation time starting the first year. Vacation allowances are based on a 40-hour work week for Salaried or Hourly Employees as follows:
- (1-2 years) accrue 80 hours/year
- (3-19 years) accrue 120 hours/year
- (20+ years) accrue 160 hours/year
Sick Pay
Available to employees on their 90th day of employment and each anniversary thereafter based on the following schedule:
- Scheduled 40 hrs: 40 hrs/year
Holidays
Eight paid holidays eligible from 1st day of employment
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Health Care Reimbursement Account & Dependent Care Reimbursement Account. With these accounts, employees may set aside money on a pre-tax basis (up to the annual IRS limit) to pay for qualified health care and dependent care expenses.
