Welcome to all new hires!

Since our recent acquisition of RMD Environmental Solutions, Citadel EHS has been hiring, growing, and filling our offices with experienced professionals to expand and diversify our capabilities in supporting our clients throughout the nation. The combination of our hiring and acquisition has seen Citadel rise from 60 to 90 employees and has been able to support our clients at a higher level with our strategic acquisition and new hires. We would like to take this moment to celebrate all of our 2023 new hires and introduce them to you.

Alec Stern is a new field technician in our Building Sciences practice for our Irvine office. Previously, Alec worked for Patriot Environmental and Arcadis. He has worked with several of our longtime Citadel staff previously and has strong working relationships with his clients and peers.

Jenna Piro has stepped into her career as an intern for the Engineering & Environmental Sciences practice in our new Walnut Creek office. She is majoring in Civil Engineering at UC Davis. Ms. Piro has also been involved in a project with Engineers without Borders in Peru.

Candice Berry (Karunungan) has joined Citadel as a Staff Scientist for our Engineering & Environmental Sciences practice in our Glendale headquarters office. Previously, Ms. Berry worked for Fulcrum Environmental Resources and the National Park Service.

Dalton McIver has returned to us for the third summer in a row as an intern for the Engineering & Environmental Sciences practice in our new Walnut Creek office. He is majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Davis and has built up his field work experience over the past two summers with the team.

Jesse Sanchez was hired as a new field representative for the Building Sciences practice in our Glendale headquarters office. He has significant industrial experience and has spent a lot of time doing oversight at the Etiwanda Power Plant demolition project.

Cameron Jones has joined Citadel as a Project Engineer for our Engineering & Environmental Sciences practice in our Long Beach Office. Mr. Jones has a MS degree in Environmental Engineering and is a Professional Engineer (PE). Cameron is experienced in managing site investigation and remediation projects for former industrial facilities, charter schools, brownfield sites, low-income residential developments, and more.

Kristina Ramos has joined Citadel as a Project Assistant and Field Representative for our Building Sciences practice in our Long Beach Office. Ms. Ramos joins us from FACS and is a CSST.

Vincent Tilotta has joined Citadel as an Associate Principal for our Engineering and Environmental Sciences practice in our new Walnut Creek office. Mr. Tilotta is a Professional Engineer (PE), QISP and QSD. He is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in California and Washington states, and his experience includes managing site investigation and remediation projects for land developers, industrial facilities, technology companies, mining companies, ports, and hospitals. Vince also has experience with industrial stormwater compliance and construction dewatering treatment and discharge permitting.

Hesham AlZahrani is our second intern to come to us from our partnership with Saudi Aramco. Hesham will be with us for one year to pursue his internship assignment and has temporarily stepped into his role as a Senior Program Manager for the ESG & Sustainability Practice Area in our San Diego office.

Joseph Thach has joined Citadel as a Field Technician for our Engineering and Environmental Sciences practice in our Irvine Office.

Lindsey George has stepped into her career as an intern for our Engineering & Environmental Sciences practice in our Valencia Office.

Karen Chantharath has joined Citadel as a Consulting Specialist for our Industrial Hygiene & Safety practice in our Irvine office. Karen previously worked in the industrial hygiene field for Arcadis and has a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology.

Carson Falls has joined Citadel as an Environmental Engineering Technician for the Engineering and Environmental Sciences practice in our Grass Valley office.

Bianca Angulo has joined Citadel as a Senior Staff Engineer for the Engineering and Environmental Sciences practice in our Walnut Creek office. Ms. Angulo has over 7 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry with a strong focus on subsurface investigations.
