Please join me in celebrating Paola Gomez-Birenbaum ‘s (pronounced “pah-OH-lah”) promotion to Associate Principal Geologist/Associate Practice Leader within the EE&S group. Paola has a degree in Environmental Science from Duke University, a MS in Earth Science from USC, is a Certified professional Geologist, and has ~20 years of in the environmental investigation/remediation consulting world.  With Khaled Rahman’s recent retirement, Paola has taken on a larger role and is responsible for managing one of our most important clients (Prologis) and one of our most demanding clients (DTSC). She is dedicated to science, great work, client satisfaction, and mentoring of staff.  She is the president of Professional Environmental Management Association (PEMA) in Southern California, a leader within the EE&S group, a proud mother, an avid watcher of youth soccer, and someone that I really enjoy working with. Congratulations Paola!
