As part of our commitment to supporting your environmental compliance needs, Citadel EHS wants to ensure you’re aware of the upcoming reporting deadlines set by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). Staying on top of these deadlines is crucial for maintaining regulatory compliance and minimizing any potential risks to your operations.
Here’s a quick overview of some key upcoming reporting deadlines to mark in your calendars:
Quarterly Compliance Emissions RECLAIM Report (QCER):
Deadline: Within 30 days after end of quarter. (next: April 30)
This report must be submitted quarterly to demonstrate compliance with emissions limits set by SCAQMD. The report provides information on the facility’s emissions from various sources for the applicable quarter.
Annual Operating and Permit Renewal Fees:
Deadline: Annually, typically; before May 1 for the fiscal year
Facilities within the SCAQMD jurisdiction must pay to renew all Permits to Operate for equipment, as well as additional fees for RECLAIM and Title V facilities.
Flat Fee for Last Fiscal Year Emissions (Emissions Fee):
Deadline: Annually, typically before May 1 for the fiscal year
In addition to the annual operating permit renewal fee, owners/operators of equipment shall pay annual emissions fees if annual emissions thresholds for specific air contaminants are exceeded.
