Environmental Social Governance (ESG), Carbon Accounting, & Climate Risk Assessment

Confidential Client Major Aerospace Industrial Defense and Electronics Manufacturing, Repair, and Distribution Company
Project Description:
Highly valued, Citadel EHS (Citadel) was selected to support a confidential aerospace and industrial defense manufacturer with the development and implementation of a robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and climate risk reporting program spanning its international operations.
The engagement began with a feasibility assessment to evaluate the client’s readiness to meet evolving climate-related disclosure regulations, including California Senate Bills 253 and 261, the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and related global frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, and the GHG Protocol. Citadel conducted comprehensive data gathering and engagement across the client’s international footprint to establish reporting boundaries, assess data availability, and identify applicable regulatory requirements. Findings were compiled in a detailed roadmap, outlining next steps for building an enterprise-wide ESG reporting infrastructure.
