ASBESTOS & LEAD CONSULTING AT ROSE BOWL STADIUM

We were contracted by Gibbs, Giden, Locher, Turner & Senet LLP—a law firm dedicated to large-scale clients in a range of industries—on behalf of their client, Rose Bowl Operating Company, to provide Asbestos and Lead consulting and training services during an extensive renovation project costing $152 million with the goal of making remarkable improvements to the experience while preserving its history.

Our team of Heath & Safety experts reviewed the existing hazardous materials documentation—including surveys, monitoring reports, CAL/OSHA citations—to determine the extent of asbestos-containing materials and/or lead-containing materials potentially present in the site. We also performed an environmental site assessment to determine any potential liabilities while the project was active. Based on these research results, our asbestos consultants developed a written Asbestos & Lead O&M program consistent with recommendations set forth by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; we also provided site-specific Asbestos Class IV Awareness Training and lead awareness training for any employees working around materials that may contain harmful elements, and thus be hazardous to their health.
