SITE MONITORING AND SOIL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE COLFAX BRIDGE PROJECT
MCM Construction had been retained by L.A. to reinforce the Colfax Bridge with several support columns, which required mass excavations of soil and groundwater. The project required a consultant team with an expertise in environmental site assessments, which is why our team was contracted to conduct a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment prior to the project taking place.
With a budget of just over $5,000, our team of Environmental Safety consultants was able to successfully monitor soil conditions and conduct visual inspections during the soil displacement operations. As a final output, we provided a full close-out report that included a written account of every observation, monitoring, and sampling activities for their future reference.
