Clay is the Chief Executive Officer of Broadview Group, where he leads the firm’s overall strategy and directs its private company investment platform. He brings extensive experience in building and scaling middle-market businesses through strategic acquisitions and operational growth.

Prior to Broadview Group, Clay served as a Managing Director at The Stephens Group, where he led investments in industrial and commercial sectors and supported multiple platform and add-on acquisitions, serving as Chairman or Board member across portfolio companies. He previously spent over a decade at Harbour Group, providing board leadership and strategic guidance to numerous middle-market businesses, and began his career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch & Co.

Clay holds a BSBA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
